Michael Gierend has had 25 years of experience in the area of clinical research acquired as head of the biometric section and director of clinical research in medium sized pharmaceutical companies as well as managing director of medicomp and FGK. His fields of expertise cover neurology, virology, biometrics, gastroenterology and all aspects of methodology in clinical research. He has been Vice President of the BVMA e.V. (Federal Society of Medical CROs) and a member of the coordinating board of PSN (Pharmaceutical Service Network) for many years.
